Description

Asiaticoside B is a triterpene glycoside isolated from Centella asiatica (L.) Urban, with anti-cancer activity.
In vitro

Asiaticoside B is isolated from the roots/rhizomes extract of Actaea asiatica, with anti-tumor bioactivity.[1]

    Cells are seeded in 96 well tissue culture plates and treated with Asiaticoside B (100-3.125 mM) or vehicle (0.1% DMSO) at various concentrations and incubated for 48 h followed by MTT (3-[4, 5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl]- 2, 5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide) assay at 570 nm.
