Biological Activity

Description	Auxinole is a potent auxin antagonist that binds to TIR1 and blocks the formation of the TIR1-IAA-Aux/IAA complex. Auxinole is an OsTIR1 inhibitor that suppresses leaky degradation of degron-fused proteins.
In vitro	Auxinole causes reduction in IAA-triggered depolarization in root hair cells. Auxinole (20 µM) also represses the transient increase in [Ca₂₊]cyt completely, and blocks Ca₂₊ response.^[4]
